The Ankylosaurus with Bone Club: An Armored Fellow to Color

Coloring Tip: Give the Armor Some Texture
A neat trick for this design: color each individual back plate in a slightly different shade of brown or green. This makes the armor look much more lively and three-dimensional, almost like real dino skin. The bone club can stay a light gray or beige so it stands out nicely from the rest of the body.
If you like, tell a little story while coloring: maybe the Ankylosaurus is defending its nest, or maybe it's just strolling calmly through a fern field looking for juicy plants. The bulky body can stay in earthy tones, while you experiment with meadow green or sky blue for the background.
