Live on the scene: The reporter and the big fireworks show

This design is packed with little details that are perfect for coloring. There are the sparkling fireworks in every shape imaginable, the microphone with its classic foam windscreen, and of course the reporter herself, speaking into the camera with focus and just a touch of excitement. In the background, you can suggest clouds of smoke and maybe even a few curious onlookers.

Coloring tip: The sky becomes the stage

It's extra fun when the night sky turns really dark – using deep blue or even black as the base color. That's when the fireworks' colors really get to shine: bold yellow, rich red, glowing green, or a sparkling purple can all try to outshine one another. The reporter herself can have a striking blazer or a bold hair color, after all, she's the one in the spotlight.

If you like, you can even come up with a little story while coloring: what do you think the reporter is reporting on right now? Maybe she's live at the most beautiful fireworks show of the year, or hosting the New Year's Eve broadcast. You can download this coloring page for free and print it out at home, ideally in standard A4 size. All you need then are some crayons, a quiet moment, and the colorful news coverage can begin.
