A cheeky sparrow takes over the garden fence
What makes this sparrow so special is his curious gaze and the slightly tilted head he uses to study the world. While coloring, your child can have fun with the feathers, add some texture to the fence, and maybe even sketch in a few blades of grass or flowers on the ground. There's plenty of room for your own ideas.
Tip: Build up the feathers in layers
Sparrows aren't as plain brown as you might think at first glance. Suggest starting with a light base color for the belly, then adding a darker brown or even a hint of gray to highlight the wings. The fence can look warmly waxed in a cozy wood tone, and if you like, you can conjure up a patch of blue sky or a few clouds in the background.
Maybe you can come up with a little story together: is the sparrow waiting for crumbs from the breakfast table, or is he simply keeping watch over the garden? You can download the coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper, then the coloring time can begin.
