Olive Tree on a Hill Coloring Page
Dear parents, do you know that feeling when you think of vacation and immediately picture gnarled trees and warm hills? This coloring page brings that exact feeling straight into the kids' room. The olive tree stands there so calm and proud, as if it had all the time in the world, and that same calmness is good for children while they color too.

The Olive Tree on the Hill: A Coloring Page with Sunshine at Heart
Here your child can discover the thick, knobby trunk, the many little leaves that look like a green mop of hair, and of course the hill below that gently curves into the distance. There might also be a few olives waiting to be colored, even though in real life they tend to be green or black. But here, every olive gets to be exactly the color it wants.
Coloring idea: Give the hill its own weather
A nice tip for in between: let your child decide what weather is currently happening on the hill. A golden summer day with rich yellow and warm ochre in the sky, or maybe a purple-blue evening when the olive tree settles down to rest? Brown and gray tones work well for the trunk, while the leaves look especially lively in different shades of green, from olive to mint.
If they like, they can tell a little story while coloring: maybe a family of lizards lives under the tree, hiding in the shade, or a little bird is building its nest there. That way, coloring turns into a small adventure almost without noticing. You can download this coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper, and the colorful journey up the hill can begin.
