The busy spider spins its web in the jungle
There's a lot to discover in this picture. The spider itself with its eight legs, the delicate pattern of the web, and all around it the lush jungle plants with big leaves and maybe a vine. Your child can decide while coloring whether the spider should look a bit spooky or rather cute, and that's exactly what makes this picture so versatile.
Coloring idea: A web of sparkling dew
A nice trick for the spider's web: trace the lines with a silver or light blue pen, and it will look as if tiny dewdrops are hanging from it. The spider itself can be as colorful as you like, why not a purple body with yellow spots, that certainly won't look strange in the jungle, after all that's where the wildest colors are found. Juicy shades of green work well for the background, with maybe a few red flowers scattered in as a splash of color.
If you like, tell a little story while coloring, for example how the spider proudly admires its web and waits for its first visitor. You can download the coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper, then you're ready to start with pens, crayons, or watercolors.
