Coral Reef in Sunlight from Above Coloring Page

Look what we found for you: a coral reef sparkling in the sunlight, seen from a bird's eye view. This motif is something really special, because you look straight down into the turquoise-blue water, almost as if from a boat or even from the air. A coral reef in sunlight from above - colorful underwater world to color

Here your child can discover all kinds of different coral shapes, some round like little cauliflower heads, others branching out like tiny trees. In between, fish wind their way through the reef, and maybe you'll even spot a starfish or a curious turtle swimming by. Every corner of the reef has something new to look at and color.

Tip: Color from the lightest to the deepest areas

A nice trick when coloring pictures of water is to start with the brightest spots. Where the sun hits the water directly, it can stay almost white or pale yellow. The deeper the water gets, the stronger the turquoise or blue can become, right up to a rich dark blue in the shadowy corners. The corals themselves invite you to experiment - pink, orange, purple and yellow side by side look especially lively and remind you of real reefs.

If you like, you can even make up a little story to go along with it, for example about a fish swimming through the reef in search of its favorite hiding spot. You can download this coloring page for free and easily print it at home on a regular A4 sheet of paper. All you need then are crayons or watercolors, and the little underwater world can shine in your most beautiful colors.
