Twinkling Stars Over the Still Lake
The beautiful thing about this motif is its calmness. There's no rush, no wild shapes, just the vastness of the night and the water reflecting it all. Your child can color each star individually, make the moon shine, and bring the water's surface to life with little wavy lines. Trees or reeds along the shore also invite exploring and coloring.
Tip: Use crayons to make the night glow
For the sky, dark blue, violet, or even a deep black work especially well, while the stars can really stand out in yellow or white. The lake can be kept a bit lighter so that it contrasts with the night sky and the water looks like a mirror. If you like, you can color the reflection of the stars in the lake in softer shades, which looks especially magical in the end.
Maybe you can tell your child a little story while coloring, for example about an owl flying over the lake, or fish sleeping beneath the water's surface. You can download the coloring page for free and conveniently print it at home on A4 paper. Nothing stands in the way of a cozy afternoon with crayons and a piece of starry sky.
