The Journalist and the Magical Sunset
What's especially lovely about this picture is the mix of adventure and calm. Your child can color the camera, the journalist's clothing, and of course the huge sky with all its colors. Little details like birds, clouds, or a bag with a notepad also invite a closer look.
Tip for a Sky Full of Color
A sunset is the perfect opportunity to experiment with color gradients. At the top of the sky it can still be bluish or purple, toward the middle it turns orange and pink, and right at the horizon the sun can glow in strong yellow or red. If you like, you can gently smudge the colors with your fingers so everything blends smoothly together.
For the journalist herself, practical colors like khaki, denim blue, or a sporty red work well, after all she needs to be well equipped for her reporting. Maybe your child will even tell a little story while coloring about what the journalist might photograph next.
You can download this coloring page completely free and simply print it at home on a regular A4 sheet. All you need then are crayons or colored pencils, and the colorful journey into the sunset can begin.
