The forest ranger and her loyal dog explore the woods
What makes this motif especially lovely is the mix of person, animal, and nature. There is so much to discover: the ranger's jacket, the dog's fur, tall trees, maybe a squirrel or a few mushrooms by the path. Plenty of room for your kids to bring the forest to life with crayons and imagination, just the way they like it.
A little coloring tip
Lovely shades of green and brown work well for the ranger's clothing, just like in a real forest. The dog can be brown, black-and-white spotted, or even a bit imaginatively striped, there are no limits to creativity here. For the forest itself, it's worth playing with different shades of green to make the trees look nice and lively, and a touch of brown for the trunks rounds out the picture.
