An artist shapes clay into a sculpture to color
There's plenty for your kids to discover here. The artist's clothing can be colored in, the workbench needs some color, and of course the emerging sculpture itself, which can still be shaped however imagination allows. The room around him, too, perhaps with shelves full of finished artworks, offers plenty of space for your own ideas while coloring.
Coloring idea: From clay-brown to rainbow fantasy
In classic style, the clay could be colored in warm earth tones, so various shades of brown, a light beige, or a soft terracotta. That looks realistic and is reminiscent of real material. But if you prefer something more playful, feel free to give the sculpture bold, bright colors instead, after all, it's not yet clear what it will become. Maybe an animal, a face, or something completely new that your kids dream up themselves.
The artist's clothing can be colored with an apron in blue or green, paired with a few splashes of paint that make the creative work feel even more alive.
