Gingerbread House in the Snow Coloring Page
Dear parents, do you know that cozy feeling when snow is falling outside and the smell of cinnamon and gingerbread fills the air inside? That's exactly the mood our coloring page captures. A little gingerbread house stands in the middle of a snowy winter landscape, with icing on the roof and colorful decorations on the walls. It looks as if it were conjured straight out of a Christmas fairy tale.

A sweet gingerbread house in the snow to color
There's plenty for your child to discover and color here. The windows could be glowing warmly, the gingerbread archway over the door might be made of little candies, and all around lies a thick blanket of snow. Maybe there's even a snowman or a few fir trees along the path. Plenty of room for little hands and big imaginations.
Tip: Work with icing white and gingerbread brown
A nice approach is to paint the house in warm brown tones, just like real gingerbread dough looks, and then use bright white to highlight the icing decorations. The decorations themselves can shine in cheerful red, green or yellow, almost like real candies and candy canes. The snow all around can be shaded in soft light blue or lavender, which adds depth to the winter landscape and looks especially pretty.
If you like, you can invent a little story together: who might live in this gingerbread house? Maybe a Christmas elf who bakes cookies there for the whole village. You can download the coloring page for free and easily print it at home on a regular A4 sheet. Then the cozy coloring afternoon can begin, best enjoyed with a cup of hot cocoa nearby.
