A zebra rolls around happily in the sand
This picture is full of movement and good cheer, and that's exactly what makes it so exciting for kids to color. There are the typical black-and-white stripes, little clouds of sand swirling up as it rolls, and of course the mischievous twinkle in the zebra's eyes. The sand itself can also be beautifully designed, with lots of little dots or gentle swirls.
Coloring tip: stripes with a twist
Instead of the classic black-and-white stripes, your kids are welcome to get bold here. Why not conjure up a rainbow zebra, with turquoise, pink, or yellow stripes? The sand can shine in warm tones like ochre yellow or soft beige, maybe with a few reddish shades, as if the afternoon sun were shining on it.
If you like, tell a little story while coloring: maybe the zebra has just come back from an exhausting race with its friends and is now enjoying its well-deserved sand bath. Little stories like this make coloring even more lively and invite conversation. You can download this coloring page easily and for free and print it out comfortably at home on A4 paper. Grab the crayons, spread a few newspapers on the table, and the shared coloring fun can begin. Have lots of fun coloring with your little artist.
