Sun Worshipper on the Picnic Blanket: A Coloring Page Full of Summer Vibes
Your child can discover and color several things here: the big, radiant sun with its rays, the pattern on the blanket, maybe a few little clouds, and of course the figure itself, who is so wonderfully soaking up the warmth. So there's plenty of room for imagination and personal color ideas.
Coloring Tip: Capture the Summer Mood with Warm Colors
For the sun, bold yellow and orange work especially well, and feel free to add a few red dabs at the tips of the rays for a truly hot summer day. The picnic blanket can wonderfully be colored with a red-and-white or blue-and-white checkered pattern, just like at a real picnic. A bright blue works great for the sky, and if you like, you can dab in a few clouds in white or a soft gray.
Maybe your child will even come up with a little story to go along with it: What does the person on the blanket love to do? Are they reading a book, eating strawberries, or just daydreaming? This coloring page can be downloaded for free and printed easily at home on A4 paper, so nothing stands in the way of a relaxed coloring afternoon in the sun.
