Winter Fun in the Pack: Two Wolves Romping Through the Snow
Your child can really dive in here: snowflakes swirling through the air, pointy ears, bushy tails, and snowy fir trees in the background are just waiting to be colored in. The picture is lovingly designed without being too cluttered, so younger children can manage it well, while older kids can really get into details like shading in the fur.
Coloring Idea: Bold Gray Meets Sparkling White
Various shades of gray work especially well for the wolves, from light silver-gray to a strong charcoal on the ears and paws. Bold colorists can also experiment with a touch of blue or purple, which looks like a frosty shimmer in the fur. The snow itself doesn't always have to stay pure white, a soft light blue or turquoise in the shadowy areas makes it look especially icy and alive.
If you like, you can even make up a little story to go with it: maybe the two wolves are best friends playing together and chasing each other after the first snowfall of winter. You can download this coloring page for free and print it out at home on A4 paper, then the winter fun with crayons or wax pencils can begin.
