A tiger prowls through the green thicket
Your child can really let loose while coloring this one. The tiger's bold stripes invite vivid colors, while the rainforest in the background leaves plenty of room for all sorts of shades of green, blossoms, and maybe even a hidden animal peeking through the leaves. In the end, every version turns into a little one-of-a-kind artwork.
Tip: Clever stripes
A nice trick with the tiger is to not color all the stripes plain black, but to mix in some browns or even a dark blue. That instantly makes the fur look more lively and natural. For the rainforest, several shades of green work especially well, from bright lime green to a rich forest green, so the plants don't all look the same.
If you like, tell your child a little story along the way, for example that the tiger is on its way to a secret watering hole to cool off. Little stories like that make coloring even more fun. You can download this picture for free and easily print it at home on a sheet of A4 paper, then get started with crayons, wax crayons, or markers.
