Werewolf Building a Sandcastle on the Beach Coloring Page
Dear parents, does this sound familiar? In the middle of summer, a werewolf suddenly shows up who doesn't want to be scary at all, but would rather build sandcastles. This is exactly the kind of scene waiting for you and your kids in this coloring page, and it shows that even the wildest furry fellows can turn totally peaceful at the beach.

A Shaggy Builder: The Werewolf with His Sandcastle
In the picture, the werewolf sits focused in the sand, his paws shaping a tower for the castle. Around him lie buckets, a little shovel, and maybe even a seashell as decoration. Your kids can not only color the werewolf's shaggy fur, but also carefully color in the sand, the sea in the background, and the little construction details of the castle.
Coloring Idea: From Gray to Golden Yellow
For the fur, earthy tones like grayish brown or a soft anthracite work well, while the sandcastle can shine in warm yellow and beige. The sky can stay classic blue or shimmer in orange and pink like a sunset, in case the werewolf prefers building at night. If you like, you can make the sea glow in bold turquoise and add little highlights with white foam crests.
A little story to go with it: maybe this werewolf isn't nocturnal at all, and simply feels like having a day at the beach just like anyone else. That's sure to spark some conversation while coloring. You can easily download the picture for free and print it out at home on A4 paper, and the shared coloring afternoon at the kitchen table can begin.
