A Little Tip: Bringing the Water to Life
Several shades of blue that blend into one another work well for the river, giving the picture a sense of movement. The bridge's stones don't all have to look the same, either, a touch of gray here, a bit of beige there, and the stonework instantly feels lively and real. If you like, color the riverbank a lush green, or let colorful autumn leaves swirl across the scene.
