A Sunrise to Color: Good Morning, Beautiful World!

Tip: From Dark Blue to Bright Yellow
A lovely trick when coloring sunrises is the flowing color gradient. Near the top of the sky, it can still be dark blue or purple, further down it turns orange, and right next to the sun, glowing yellow. This creates that typical morning glow you know from real sunrises. The clouds don't have to stay plain white either—they can take on a soft pink or peach tone.
Maybe you can tell your child about a bird that wakes up first and greets the sun, or a little fishing boat just setting out on a journey. Little stories like these make coloring even more lively.
