Scarecrow with Pumpkin Head in the Field Coloring Page
So glad you stopped by! As it slowly turns autumn outside and the pumpkins in the field ripen, our scarecrow gets its big moment too. With its round pumpkin head, stuffed straw body, and crooked hat, it looks more like a reason to smile than to be scared – just right for little artists who want to dip their toes into Halloween without things getting too spooky.

The friendly pumpkin-head scarecrow is waiting in the field
On this coloring page, your child can discover and color all kinds of details: the grinning pumpkin face, the checkered flannel-shirt patch, the scruffy tufts of straw on the arms and legs, and the wide field with a few crows in the background. Plenty of space to really dive in with pencils or crayons.
Coloring tip: plenty of autumn colors
For the pumpkin head, orange works well along with a strong brown for the outlines, plus a dark green or black for the eyes and mouth. The straw shirt can shine in warm yellow and red tones, while the trousers look great in a simple blue or brown, so the scarecrow looks fresh off the farm. For the background, a soft yellow suits the ripe grain and a gentle gray-blue works nicely for the sky – giving the whole picture the feel of a cozy autumn day.
If you like, you can come up with a little story while coloring: maybe the scarecrow is telling the crows a joke instead of shooing them away. You can download this coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper – and that's the perfect afternoon for little autumn and Halloween fans all set.
