A Tiger on a Butterfly Hunt to Color
There's a lot for your kids to discover and color here. The tiger's typical stripes invite bold colors, while the butterfly with its delicate wings allows for totally different patterns. There are also a few grasses and leaves in the background, which look wonderful colored in with crayons or colored pencils.
Coloring Tip: Stripes vs. Wing Patterns
A lovely contrast appears when the tiger shines in warm orange with deep black stripes, while the butterfly shimmers in bright blue, purple, or pink. That way it's instantly clear who's the hunter and who's the nimble escape artist. Some kids also like giving the butterfly its own colorful dot pattern that stands out clearly from the tiger's stripes.
If you like, you can make up your own little story about whether the butterfly manages to escape in the end. You can download this coloring page completely free and easily print it at home on A4 paper. Then the jungle chase can begin with colored pencils, at your own pace and with your own favorite colors.
