An autumn tree by the riverbank is waiting for its colors
Here your child can get as creative as they like. The tree trunk with its rough bark, the many small and large leaves in the treetop, the gently flowing river, and maybe even a few stones on the bank all offer plenty of space for crayons or colored pencils. Even the sky above would love a splash of color.
Coloring tip: mix autumn colors like nature does
Red, orange, yellow, and a warm brown work especially well for the leaves, feel free to mix them together just the way nature does in autumn. No two leaves need to be the same color, in fact that's what makes the picture truly come alive. The river can sparkle in different shades of blue, perhaps with a few lighter spots that look like sunlight dancing on the water.
Imagine the tree is telling a little story: every day it lets a few leaves fall into the river, where they float away like tiny boats. While coloring, you and your child can imagine together where those leaves might travel to. You can download the finished coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper. All you need then is a cozy spot at the table, your child's favorite pencils, and the autumn magic can begin.
