Two Birds on a Branch: a Little Love Story to Color In
On the branch sit two birds, very close to each other, surrounded by little details like delicate leaves, maybe a tiny heart in the air, or a few clouds in the background. Your child can decide whether both birds should look the same or whether each gets its own feathery outfit. So there's plenty of room for imagination.
Tip: Feathers don't have to be as colorful as a rainbow
A lovely approach is to pick one base color for each bird, for example red and pink as a nod to Valentine's Day, or classic shades of brown and orange like real robins. The wings can be a bit darker than the belly, which adds depth to the picture. The branch itself also deserves some loving detail, a rich brown with a few lighter highlights makes it look nice and woody.
