Two heads are better than one: The two-headed dragon in the swamp
All around, a mysterious swamp bubbles and gurgles with gnarled trees, big lily pads, and perhaps even a few cheeky frogs at the water's edge. Your child can really dive in here: scaly dragon skin, wobbly swamp plants, and lots of details are waiting to be brought to life with color.
Coloring idea: Two heads, two moods
A lovely trick for this picture is to give the two dragon heads different moods. Perhaps color one head in warm shades of green, looking completely relaxed and cozy, while the second head shows off a cheekier side in a stronger moss green or even with a few orange accents. The swamp itself can look a little dark and mysterious, with deep turquoise for the water and shades of brown for the trees—this will really make the dragon shine.
