Two Monkeys Grooming Each Other: Friendship to Color In

There's a lot to discover while coloring: the monkeys' long arms, round ears, nimble fingers, and of course the leaves and branches in the background. Some kids color the two monkeys exactly the same, while others give each one its own fur color. Both work wonderfully, because in the end what matters most is that your child enjoys the process.

Tip: Bringing fur to life with texture

Warm brown tones work great for the fur, but a soft gray or even a playful orange can look really striking too. Using short, slightly curved strokes instead of flat, smooth areas makes the fur look much more lively and fluffy right away. The faces, hands, and soles of the feet can stay a bit lighter, which creates a nice contrast and makes the two monkeys especially endearing.

The background with branches and leaves can be colored in different shades of green and brown, creating a little jungle. You can download this coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper. All you need then are crayons or colored pencils, and the cozy monkey friendship can shine in color.
