Reaching for the Sky: The Stilt Dancer Conquers the Street Festival
In the picture, the dancer balances elegantly on his long stilts, while the colorful hustle and bustle of the festival swirls around him. There are flowing ribbons on the costume, a cheerful hat, and in the background maybe even flags or little banners that belong to the festival. Plenty of room, then, for lots of colors and little details just waiting to be discovered.
Tip: Bold Colors for a Bold Artist
Anyone who dances on stilts needs a costume that can't be missed. Feel free to reach for bold red, sunny yellow, or a rich blue for the dancer's clothing. The stilts themselves can stay simple in wood brown, or you can give them colorful stripes that look like candy canes. The background works great in pastel tones, so the dancer in the middle still plays the leading role.
Maybe you can invent a little story together: what's the dancer's name, and why is he at the festival today? Questions like these make coloring even more exciting. You can download this coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home, for example on standard A4 paper. All you need then are some crayons, a quiet moment, and the stilt dancer can glide across the paper in the most beautiful colors.
