A brave werewolf with a lantern explores the dark forest
Your child can really let their creativity shine here: the lantern is waiting for a cheerful yellow or orange, while the fur can be colored in gray, brown, or even purple and blue, whatever strikes their fancy. All around, gnarled trees, a round full moon, and tiny stars are just waiting to be filled with color. A little bit of spookiness and a whole lot of coziness blend together perfectly here.
Coloring idea: discovering light and shadow playfully
Here's a nice tip for in between: let your child color the lantern first in bold yellow, then the forest around it in darker tones like dark green or midnight blue. This naturally creates a little glowing-light effect that brings the picture to life. If you like, tell a little story along with it: where might the werewolf be heading with his lantern? Maybe he's searching for a lost treasure, or trying to find his way back to his cave.
You can download this coloring page for free and easily print it at home on standard letter or A4 paper. Whether for a rainy afternoon, a fun activity before Halloween, or just a quick coloring break, the werewolf with the lantern makes for cozy coloring time with no extra effort.
