Whale sings in the moonlight – a gentle ocean melody to color
There is so much to discover among gentle waves, twinkling stars, and perhaps a few curious fish. Your child can give the big whale a color all its own, create the night sky, and make the sea shine deep blue, turquoise, or even purple. This turns the coloring page into a little nighttime story on paper.
Blue sea, silver moon, and a whale in its favorite color
For a classic moonlit night, dark blue water, a pale yellow moon, and silvery-gray waves look especially lovely together. Of course, the whale can be blue, gray, or black – or pink with green spots if it feels like singing especially festively. White pencils or very light blue can be used to add little highlights to the waves and stars in the sky.
As you color, perhaps you can tell a story about the whale singing a message to its friends in the wide ocean. Who might hear its song first: a little fish, a turtle, or the moon itself? You can download the picture for free and print it at home, for example on A4 paper. Then all you need are colored pencils, crayons, or felt-tip pens and a cozy spot for your creative moonlit journey.
