A whale surfaces while the sky dances
Your child can really let loose here, because there's so much to discover. The whale's big, round shapes invite generous brushstrokes, while the curving lines of the northern lights reward fine finger skills. Little stars and waves are also waiting to be brought to life with color.
Tip: Conjure up color gradients
For a real aurora feeling, soft transitions work especially well. Try green fading slowly into blue or purple, just like it happens in the real sky. The whale itself can stay in a deep blue or gray so it stands out nicely against the colorful sky, but a cheeky purple whale has already won over quite a few kids' rooms too.
If you like, you can come up with a little story while coloring: maybe the whale is on its way to a secret meeting with friends under the sparkling sky, or it's showing the little fish just how beautiful the night can be. You can download the Whale Under the Northern Lights coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home, best in DIN A4 format, so there's plenty of room for all your colorful ideas. Grab your pencils, get cozy, and let the aurora whale shine in your favorite colors.
