A Wizard Conjures a Rainbow to Color
What makes this design so special is the mix of magic and color play. Your child can not only design the wizard himself, but also fill each individual arc of the rainbow with a different color. Maybe together you'll discover which colors actually appear in a real rainbow, or you'll simply invent your own, completely personal color order.
Tip: The Rainbow as a Color Lesson
A nice way to start is coloring the classic rainbow colors red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple one after another. After that, it's the wizard's cloak's turn, best in a deep blue or purple with golden stars. The hat looks wonderful in the same color as the cloak, so the whole picture looks like it's all of a piece.
If you like, you can invent a little story to go with it: Why is the wizard conjuring a rainbow today of all days? Maybe as a gift for a sad dragon, or simply because he wants to spread some good cheer. You can download this coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on a regular A4 sheet. Nothing stands in the way of a cozy afternoon with crayons and a magical rainbow.
