Wild Hunt: A Wolf Pack in a Snowstorm to Color
Your child can spot several wolves here, skillfully running through the snowflakes, along with rugged rocks in the background and dense fir trees that are only faintly visible in the storm. Plenty of details, then, to get really creative while coloring and bring the pack to life.
Tip: Use contrasts to bring the storm to life
Shades of grey, silver, or a warm brown work well for the wolves, depending on whether you're picturing a typical grey wolf or more of a timber wolf. The trick with the snowstorm lies in the contrasts: light blue and white tones for the snow, plus maybe a dark blue-grey for the stormy sky, so the wolves really stand out. If you like, leave individual snowflakes white on purpose and dab bold colors around them, that really brings dynamism to the picture.
