The Secretive Wolf in the Tall Grass
There's plenty for your child to discover here. The wolf's shaggy fur with its many lines, the swaying blades of grass all around, and the wide background still waiting for color. A motif like this is perfect for patiently coloring in small details or quickly filling large areas with big, sweeping strokes, whichever feels right in the moment.
Tip for little wolf researchers
It looks especially lovely when the fur isn't just one single color. Try mixing gray, brown, and a bit of beige so the wolf feels alive, almost as if he could trot off again at any moment. The grass can shine in various shades of green too, from soft spring green to a rich dark green that looks like dusk is falling.
If you like, make up a little story along the way: why is the wolf sneaking along here? Is he looking for his family, or just a quiet spot to rest? Questions like these make coloring even more exciting. You can download this coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on a regular A4 sheet. All you need then are colored pencils or wax crayons, and the wolf can roam through the grass in exactly the colors your child dreams up for him.
