A zebra gets a visit from a little bird
Your child can discover the zebra's classic stripe pattern here and think about how the bird should look. Maybe it's sitting playfully on the zebra's back, or maybe it's hopping happily around its hooves. There's a lot to discover and even more to color in.
Tip: Bringing stripes and feathers to life
A zebra, of course, is all about its stripes. Classic black and white looks great, but why not try colorful stripes for a change? Purple, turquoise, or orange turn the zebra into a real eye-catcher. The bird offers the perfect space for bold colors: a rich red, a bright yellow, or a soft blue for the feathers creates a lovely contrast with the zebra.
If you're in the mood for a little story, you can think together about how the two might have met. Maybe the bird is an old friend who stops by for a visit every day. You can download this coloring page easily and for free, and print it out at home on standard letter size paper. All you need then are some crayons, a cozy corner, and the afternoon with zebra and bird can begin.
