A crisp apple mandala to color

At the center sits a stylized apple, surrounded by sweeping lines, leaves and little patterns that recall apple cores or apple skins. Your child can freely decide whether the apple should glow red, green or yellow, and along the way discover how many small parts come together to form one big, round whole.

Coloring idea: The apple with two faces

A nice trick with mandalas is to think of the design as two halves. Let one side shine in warm autumn tones like red, orange and brown, and the other in fresh spring green and soft yellow. This creates an apple that recalls both the harvest and the first blossoming branch, all without much planning, just pencil by pencil.

If you prefer something calmer, you can also work with just three colors and repeat them again and again in the little fields; this soothes the hand and the result still looks harmonious. Every now and then, a glitter pen may of course sneak across the leaves too, anything that brings joy is allowed. You can download the apple mandala for free and conveniently print it at home on A4 paper, and a fresh sheet of paper is ready for a cozy afternoon with colored pencils, a cup of tea and a little artist by your side.
