Artist Designing a Mosaic Coloring Page
So glad you stopped by! Mosaics are naturally colorful by nature, but our artist's artwork is still lying before her in black and white, patiently waiting for color. She sits focused at her table, surrounded by lots of little stones and tile pieces, carefully thinking about what pattern should take shape.

Tile by Tile: The Artist and Her Colorful Mosaic
There's so much for your kids to discover and color in here: the artist herself with her apron and maybe a smudge of paint on her cheek, the countless tiny mosaic pieces in different shapes, and of course the big picture that's just beginning to take form. Every single little piece can get a different color – that's what makes this design so much fun to color.
Tip: Mosaic Technique for Coloring
A lovely idea is to design the little stones like a real mosaic. Instead of coloring everything in one color, you and your child can take turns using blue, yellow, green, and red for the individual pieces, so that in the end a real play of colors emerges. The artist herself can wear a cheerful sweater in orange or turquoise, while the background stays in soft pastel tones, so the mosaic in the foreground really shines.
If you like, you can even make up a little story to go with it: maybe the artist is building a mosaic for the garden or for the school next door. You can download this coloring page easily and for free, and print it comfortably at home, best on a regular A4 sheet. Then all you need are crayons or colored pencils, and the creative tile-laying on paper can begin.
