A demon with his mysterious book of spells
Your child can really let loose while coloring: the curved horns, the thick book with its squiggly symbols, and the mischievous look all invite them to experiment with imagination and color. The demon can even turn pink or turquoise here and there – magical creatures don't follow the rules, after all.
A little coloring tip
For the demon himself, bold shades like purple, dark red, or a rich green work well – making him look mysterious rather than scary. The book of spells can be beautifully colored in warm brown or gold, while the magic symbols inside sparkle with real magic in shimmering silver or glowing blue. If you like, you can add little sparks or stars dancing around the book, as if a spell is being cast right now.
Maybe you can come up with a little story together: which spell is the demon reading right now? Is he turning the cat into a frog, or would he rather conjure up a second slice of cake? Little stories like these make coloring even more lively.
