Astronaut Has a Picnic on the Moon Coloring Page
Dear parents, imagine floating through zero gravity, landing on the moon, and thinking: time for a little snack break. That's exactly what happens in this coloring page, and honestly, we find the idea pretty charming. Amid craters and a starry sky, our astronaut spreads out a picnic blanket as if it were the most normal thing in the world.

Picnic in Space: An Astronaut Takes a Break on the Moon
There's plenty for your kids to discover here. The spacesuit with all its little details, the distant Earth in the sky, a few stars just waiting to be colored, and of course the picnic items that really have no business being on the moon. It's exactly this little contradiction that makes the picture so funny and sparks the imagination.
Coloring idea: Moon gray meets picnic colors
For the moon's surface, muted gray tones work well, maybe with a touch of beige for the craters. The spacesuit, on the other hand, can really shine, whether in classic white with red stripes or in a brand-new astronaut color that's never existed before. The picnic blanket and basket are the perfect spot for bold colors, a red-and-white checkered blanket looks especially great out in space.
Anyone who wants to can even make up a little story to go with it, like what might be hiding in the picnic basket when you're already on the moon. Moon cookies, perhaps? You can download the coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper, and the space mission can begin with crayons.
