Coloring idea: Who wins the color battle?
A nice trick is to give the two dinosaurs completely different color worlds so they can be told apart right away. One could be done in a strong green with dark stripes, almost like moss on old stone, while the other appears in warm brown or even an unusual blue-gray, making it look like a rock on two legs. The ground can stay in earthy gray and brown tones, with little tufts of grass in yellow-green adding pretty accents here and there.
