Autumn Mandala with Leaves: a round journey through the colorful season
Here your child can discover big maple leaves, filigree oak leaves and round shapes that wrap around the center like a dance. Mandalas are wonderfully forgiving, it's perfectly fine to color outside the lines here, the pattern forgives almost anything and still turns out beautiful in the end.
Tip: Color from the inside out
It's best to start in the middle and work your way outward, this gives the picture a lovely rhythm later on. Warm tones like orange, reddish-brown and a bold yellow work well for the leaves, and a deep wine red can pop up here and there too. If you like, trace individual leaf veins with a darker pencil, this adds depth and looks really lovely.
A little suggestion for in between: give each leaf a different color, creating a colorful autumn firework right in the middle of the paper. You can download this coloring page for free and print it comfortably on A4, then nothing stands in the way of a cozy afternoon with crayons.
