A Patient Angler: The Bear at the Waterfall
The picture is full of details to discover and color. There's the rushing water tumbling over the rocks in white foamy crests, the shiny fish that might just be wriggling on the line, and of course the bear himself with his thick fur and powerful paws. The rocks he's standing on and the greenery around the waterfall also invite plenty of creative coloring.
Tip: Water needs lots of shades of blue
Here's a little trick for lively water: don't just use one blue, mix several shades, from light sky blue to deep turquoise. This instantly makes the waterfall look more vibrant and deep. The bear himself can be brown, reddish-brown, or even black, whatever your child likes, since bears come in many fur colors.
If you like, tell a little story while coloring: how the bear has been waiting since morning for the perfect fish and how happy he is when one finally bites. You can download this coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on a regular A4 sheet. Then all you need are some pencils, a quiet corner, and coloring time at the waterfall can begin.
