Trumpets, Tuba and Lots of Brass Music: The Brass Band at the Village Fair
What makes this picture special are the many different instruments you can discover. There's the shiny tuba, the blaring trumpet, the noble trombone, and of course the drum, without which no parade would be complete. Alongside them stand the musicians in their traditional costumes or uniforms, some with hats, some holding sheet music. So your child can not only color in the instruments, but also discover little details like buttons, bows, or the flags in the background.
Coloring idea: Shiny brass and colorful costumes
Golden yellow or a warm brown work especially well for the instruments, giving them a lovely metallic shine. With a few lighter strokes in white or light yellow, you can even create a little light effect, as if the sun were shining right on the brass. The costumes, on the other hand, can be really colorful: red, green, or blue look great next to the gold of the instruments. If you like, add a few flags or balloons in the background to bring out a real festive mood.
You can download this coloring page for free and print it out at home on A4 paper whenever you have time. All you need then are crayons, watercolors, or felt-tip pens, and the little village fair concert can begin on paper.
