A Butterfly Takes a Break on the Pumpkin
This design combines two things children especially love, delicate butterfly wings and a plump pumpkin with lots of grooves. Your child can decorate the wings with patterns, color the pumpkin in autumn shades, and maybe even add a few falling leaves around it. So there is plenty of room for both little and big artist hands.
Coloring tip, combining autumn colors
For the pumpkin, orange, a warm yellow, or even a bold red work well, depending on how autumnal you want it to look. The butterfly wings, on the other hand, can happily stand out, purple, turquoise, or a soft pink create a lovely contrast to the earthy pumpkin. If you like, you can come up with a little story to go along with it, maybe the butterfly is searching for the most beautiful pumpkin in the whole field to rest on before continuing its journey.
You can download this coloring page completely free of charge and print it comfortably at home, for example in the handy A4 format. Get your crayons or wax crayons ready, sit down together at the table, and let the butterfly and its pumpkin shine in your favorite colors. A cozy autumn afternoon, that's all it takes.
