A crispy pretzel is waiting to be colored in
In the picture, the pretzel lies right in the middle of a rustic wooden table, and all around it there are details to discover, like a beer mug, a checkered tablecloth, or little hearts. So there's plenty for kids to explore and fill with color, from the shiny crust to the tiny salt crystals.
Coloring idea: from golden brown to hearty and salty
A warm golden brown works well for the pretzel itself, with a few darker spots at the edges here and there, just like fresh out of the oven. The salt crystals can stay white or light gray, or be suggested with little dots, which is especially fun with a thick marker. The tablecloth can shine in blue and white, nice and classic, or your child can invent a whole new checkered pattern.
If you like, make up a little story to go along with it: Whose pretzel do you think it is, and will it be eaten with butter or mustard? Questions like these liven up the coloring and spark the imagination. You can download the coloring page for free and print it at home on A4 paper, and then the colorful pretzel fun can begin, whether in the afternoon or as a fun little distraction on a rainy weekend.
