Two big manes, one big heart: the snuggling lion pair
There's plenty for your child to discover here. The two manes invite wild color play, the paws can be carefully outlined, and in the background a few blades of grass and maybe a cloud are waiting for some color. Big and simple, yet with enough detail for little artist hands.
Tip: the mane becomes a fireworks of color
With lion pictures, the mane is allowed to go all out. Mix golden yellow, orange, and a warm brown, and the fur will look wonderfully cuddly and lively. You can leave the faces a bit lighter, though, which creates a nice contrast and really brings out the two lions' expressions. If you like, give the lions pink noses or a smile, which makes the pair even more endearing.
Maybe you can invent a little story along the way: why are the two cuddling so closely right now? Did they spend the day together, or are they seeing each other again after a long time? Little questions like these make coloring even more personal.
