Wild Game of Tag: Centaur Children Romp Across the Meadow

What makes this picture special is the mix of human and horse, which gives young artists lots of room for imagination. Your child can design the upper bodies in all sorts of ways, with colorful hair, cheerful faces, or even little patterns on the skin. The horse bodies, in turn, invite trying out different coat colors, from rich brown to dreamy gray. Add in grass, flowers, and maybe a few curious butterflies watching the game.

Tip: Capture motion with color

To make the game of tag feel truly alive on paper too, you could suggest giving the manes and tails especially bold, slightly blended colors, for example orange next to yellow or pink next to purple. This creates a great impression of speed and wind. The meadow can happily shimmer in several shades of green, which makes it feel more lively than a single flat color.

Imagine one of the centaur children has just almost caught their friend, missing them by only a small jump. Little stories like this in your head make coloring even more exciting. You can download the template for free and print it comfortably at home on a regular A4 sheet of paper. Then grab your pens and let the chase on paper begin.
