A coral fish dives in for coloring fun

The design is wonderfully suited for both small and big hands, since the fish's fins and scales offer lovely large areas to color, while the delicate coral branches add a bit more of a challenge. Your child can decide whether the fish swims through the reef shy and pale, or bold and brightly colored.

Coloring idea: A rainbow underwater

Real coral fish are often true color artists, so feel free to experiment boldly here. Maybe the body gets a rich orange or turquoise, the fins shine in yellow or pink, and the coral in the background can bloom in pink, purple, or coral red. Dotted or striped patterns on the scales are also lots of fun and invite experimenting.

If you like, make up a little story to go with it: What's the fish's name, and what is it looking for in the reef today – maybe a lost shell, or just a cozy spot to rest? You can download this coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home, simply on regular A4 paper. Grab your crayons or colored pencils, and the little reef expedition can begin at the kitchen table.
