A majestic deer at the roaring waterfall
Your child can really let loose here: the deer's magnificent antlers, its soft fur, the mossy stones by the waterfall, and the plants along the bank are just waiting to be filled with color. Little details like birds in the background or flowers along the path also invite a closer look and some careful coloring.
Tip: Use watercolors for a special shine
Light blue and turquoise shades work especially well for the waterfall's water, and you can even add a few white highlights for the spray. The deer itself can shine in warm brown and beige tones, while the antlers can be shaded a bit darker so they really stand out. Around the scene, you can use lush green for moss and leaves – creating a truly atmospheric forest picture.
Maybe you can tell your child the little story that this deer comes to the waterfall every morning to drink in peace before the forest wakes up. You can download the "Deer at the Waterfall" coloring page for free and easily print it at home on A4 paper – perfect for a cozy afternoon with crayons or watercolors.
