A Magical Elf Princess Crowns Herself with a Flower Wreath
What makes this picture so special are the many little details your children can discover and fill with color. There are the delicate, pointed elf ears, the filigree wings that glitter like spiderwebs in the morning dew, and of course the flower wreath itself, woven from all kinds of forest flowers. The princess's flowing dress also offers plenty of room for creativity.
Coloring idea: A wreath full of colors
Feel free to let your imagination run wild with the flower wreath. Why not color each blossom a different shade, so a real rainbow appears on the elf princess's head? Pink, purple, yellow, and a soft blue go wonderfully together and bring to mind a blooming spring garden. For the wings, light pastel tones work beautifully, or even a shimmering silver if you have glitter pens on hand.
Maybe you can tell your child a little story while coloring: the elf princess is crowning herself today because she has been named guardian of the forest, and from now on she gets to watch over all the animals and plants. A lovely task that encourages taking on responsibility too. You can download this coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper. Grab your crayons, spread a few sheets on the table, and let the coronation celebration begin.
