Fire, swords and brave hearts: the Dragon Battling Knights coloring page
Your child can really let loose while coloring. The dragon's scaly skin invites bold colors, the knights' armor can be shiny silver or gleaming gold, and in the background you can discover castle walls, clouds or even little tongues of fire. Every line tells part of the story, every detail is just waiting to come to life.
Coloring idea: who wins the battle of colors?
A lovely trick for even more excitement while coloring: let your child decide who the hero of the story is. Should the dragon look green and fierce, or glow in warm red tones like a fire dragon? The knights can shine bravely in blue and silver, or get their own little identity with colorful crests on their shields. Shades of gray for stone and smoke also bring depth to the wild battle scene.
Anyone who wants to can invent a little story to go along with it: why are the knights fighting the dragon? Maybe they're protecting a village, or maybe they just want to prove they're as brave as the heroes from their favorite books. You can download the Dragon Battling Knights coloring page for free and print it out comfortably at home on A4 paper. Then the adventure can begin with crayons, felt-tip pens or wax crayons, and a quiet afternoon turns into a real little knight's saga.
