The magical elf balancing on a rainbow
What makes this picture so special is the mix of calm and adventure. Your child can color in the delicate elf wings, give the rainbow its colors, or discover little details like flowers and tiny clouds in the background. Every line invites a closer look and a fresh start with the crayons.
Tip: The rainbow as a color lesson
A lovely way to start is coloring the rainbow in its classic color order – red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Not only does this look harmonious, it's also fun because you always know which color comes next. The elf herself can be interpreted freely: maybe with pink hair, golden wings, or a turquoise dress, whatever your child fancies.
If you like, you can even make up a little story while coloring: why is the elf balancing on the rainbow right now? Is she searching for treasure at the end, or does she simply want to enjoy the view? You can download this coloring page for free and easily print it at home on A4 paper. Grab your crayons, spread a few sheets out on the table, and let the elf come to life under your hands.
