Sandcastle Building for Big and Small: A Coloring Page Idea for Father's Day
What makes this picture special is the little story it tells: two small towers, a seashell for decoration, and in the background the waves patiently waiting for the masterpiece to be finished. Your child can color in the castle with all its details, give the father's and child's clothing lots of color, and give the sea its very own shade.
Tip: Work with Sandy Tones and Ocean Blue
Warm yellow and brown tones work especially well for the sandcastle, and a few light highlights can make it look really sunny. The sea can range from light turquoise to deep blue, and if you like, you can add a little boat or a seagull on the horizon.
Maybe while coloring you can even tell the story of how the two in the picture are racing to save the castle before the next wave comes. You can download this coloring page for free and print it out at home on A4 paper, and the little Father's Day beach day can begin on paper.
